Movie review(Wait till you're Older)

Last sat, went to orchard LIDO and watch this movie-童夢奇緣( Wait till you're older)

This show really could touched on people's soul..will make you do some soul-searching after you watch.

A 12yrs old kid who is unhappy after his mother's suicide years ago. He blamed his father and stepmother for the cause.. well, if i nv remember wrongly it is the boy who planned to die with his mom together by eating poison cake. But he was lucky out of the unlucky to be saved, but not his mom.

He yearn for freedom as much as for love.. He hope he can have enough money so that he would not have to depend on his father and stepmother anymore.. That's why he ran away from home back to his old house, where he and his biological mother lived.. Everytime his father would go back to the place and find him where he would ask for certain amount of money..

One day, he had a tiff with his stepmother and got chase out of the house.. He met a old man in chances,who claimed that he had a bottle of potion that can speed up life process.. The boy went to steal the bottle, in the case of "Tom and jerry catch" the boy fell and drop the potion, leaving himself bleeding and taints his blood with the potion.. Needless to say, his life changed..
Within a day, he grown up into an adult, and of cos he's happy about it.. he could do wat he wants now.. freedom..

But, no one recognised him. He, all grown up, now sees in a diff view... as days goes by.. he realise that he had make mistakes.. he realised that actually his father cares alot for him. It was all too late.. by the time, he had already grown into a old man who is going to die soon..

Shall not continue.. find out yourself.. But the ending of the story quite predictable..


To me, moral of the story:
People sees things superficially, they only sees the problem infront of them, but never realise the real problem, which is always "underneath the surfaces of the injuries".
"You fall down, got cuts, you blames the shoes, blames the slippery road, blames anything that makes you fall but not yourself.. You ought to stand up quickly to hide from embarassment and not immediately clean the wound, den when wound start to infection, you once again blames that fall of you..
The real problem is, did you look out for slippery roads, things on the floor that make you fall. and clean the wound instead of hiding embarrasment?!
Problem always lies before and after the incident.. It nv really did happen on the moment..

Sago Pudding. The brown sauce is nice, sweet taste with sago.
but the plain sago below taste weird. 2bucks. Try if you want.

These few days hasn't been doing anything great.. same old stuffs. go sch den do nothing.. quite a relax sch term..but somehow or rather, felt abit pressurized.. dunno why..
Exams due next friday..Mathematics(Statistics and Matrices). which I have learnt before in Additional mathematics.. Quite boring.. I'm such a idiotic freak leh.. my maths test which is on yesterday(11/10/2005), got only 87/100marks.. was hoping at least above 90.. damn it.. den the preivous maths test 86/100. idiotic. means only improve by one mark.. ass.. cannot.. my gpa cannot drop.. must improve.. must more den 3.0.. i want go poly!!..

yesterday went to celebrate Mr Conan Ng kim leong's bday.. i missed the ktv session due to the extra lesson for java in the afternoon.. sian 1/2.. meet them at bugis.. den went to the "Creation" restaurants I'd mention in the last post.. this time round with pics.. will up load.. soon.. pic taken not very impessive,wont make you drool..my photo taking skills deteriorating.. haha..

abit back tracked(4/10/2005)
Went to Hong Kong Cafe for dinner,chinese name is 香港旺角(if i nv remembered wrongly)
located at 378 East Coast Road S(428985).Bus 12 and 10 will get there.. forgot still got what bus.. took pics of it too..will upload the pic along with the one i taken at restaurant "Creation" in the next post..
Why did i go there? becos the mediacorp tv show intro.. but hor, abit dissapointment lah, not as good as what the show has intro..

Then, i wait for 10mins have come, den my sis ask, the person say, another 15.. that's mean they forgot my order lah.. den we cancel the order.. sweat.. -.-'''

Food Review - Creation

Went to a eating place named Creation at shaw tower with dan and kim last friday,23rd sept..
Well well, a place where kim wanted to introduce to us on 25th december 2004..Note the word wanted.. Cos the place is closed due to the time we went last time..for more information pls read the "Time" post.

Ok, finally after bout 8months and 23 days we tried the food there..
I order a very cheesy chicken spaghetti, dan order a seafood spaghetti and kim i think order a normal chicken spaghetti.. Forgot what's the actual name.. I'll do a repeat review next time if i went there again. and oh.. will definately take picture down next time..

The price is quite reasonable.. around 14++ for a set meal, which includes the following:
Appetizer(soup of the day)
Main course
Soft Drink
Dessert

I think the most impt should be the appetizer.. if the appetizer is good, it can make your appetite better food the upcoming main course and so on..The soup, not bad.. the main course, still ok.. quite normal..nothing special.. ah, the dessert.. yummy.. it's brownies with ice-cream on top of it.. yum yum..
Next time, promised next time if i post it, it will with picture..
