Food Review - Out Of The Pan

19th August 2006.

Meet dar 5.30pm at cityhall. But I was late reach around 545pm. Why? when i was choosing the clothes to wear, I accidentally broke the little ornament dear gave to me during vday. so sad.. But dear was even later den me.haha.. 6pm she still at home. Den tell me she do homework till forgot time.. lol..Everytime like that. haha.. So i waited around 45min again.

Shop around raffles city shopping. Went to adidas shop.. Saw a jacket and I like it.So I decided to buy it tml(20th aug 06) using the $150 adidas voucher that starhub gave me. haha.. After that walk around, den walk to MS to check the timing for the movie - Click. But the timing not right or left, 6plus and 9plus. if watch 9plus den at nite i will have no bus home after i send dear home.

So waited dear to reach liao den I tell her. She say watch 9 plus one den she go home alone loh. But I of course say no. Called sis ask her help me check timing in other place. But she tell me she got the dvd. So I told dar about it, and she seemed sad.. I think because she think watch in cinema got the "Qing Xu". aiyo.. but must think ma, save money.. haha.. i not very rich leh.. broke liao..

We walk around MS awhile den back to raffles city shopping center. to decide wat to eat.. So we past by this restaurant name "Out Of The Pan" which is on the basement level - "The market place". So dear ask wanna try and of course I say ok.

Because I used UOB Visa Debit, there's 15% off.. But i calculated.. they didnt give me whole 15%. Deduct only 11.5%. dunno why.. So.. only deduct $4.85, which should be $6.45.
$43-$4.95=$38.05

plus 10% service charge = $3.81
1% CESS from $38.05 = 0.38
Den now add $38.05 + $3.81 + $0.38 = $42.24
5% of GST from $42.24 = $2.11
So Grand Total is
$42.24 + $2.11 = $44.35

What I hate about Singapore is this, everything oso charge you.. the meal actually can be much cheaper.. but with all the Service Charge, GST, CESS = $EXPENSIVE.. hahaha..

Oh yah, there's few things I wanna comment on.

The food was served quite fast after we have ordered. Not much of a waiting time. around 5-10min. That's very good. Even though there are many customers, the food still served quick. Thumbs Up^

Another issue here. There is this waiter, who has no courtesy at all.
This is wat happen. After we had order our food from another waiter, we ask for one of menu to be kept with us for later order. Den the very "courteous" waiter who after served the table behind ours, walk past us and took the menu away just like that, without asking. Shoom..the menu was taken away. Cannot believe it..It seemed like he snatching something.He didn't even stop beside the table and took it. He walk and took it at the same time. He should at least ask if we need it or not. Singapore service is not that good. I think that's why Singapore was ranked 31st out of 35 country for world of courtesy survey.

Enough of my talk here.. End of my 2 Food Review..

Movie Review - The Break Up

18th August 2006.

Met up with dar at 545.pm, bugis village BK. Supposesly 5.45pm, but den she was release from sch at 5pm.She called me and ask where am I, I say at tampines station, den she "Har! still at tampines." So I say, you har wat? How i know you so early finish sch. Den dar say I so fierce. Lol.. The way I talk is like that mah.. sorry dar..

So I before i went bugis, I bought the golden belt i said nice for dardar. Den meet dar le, slack at Bk awhile cos dar said she tired and dun want walk. After that, went in bugis village again.. To find another belt. Dar say to replace her spoilt gucci's belt. Haha..girls can nv be contented with one thing she have except for man. Recently she bought a milky coloured flower belt, den i bought her the golden belt, yet she still want buy another. haha.. this is girls. haha..

So after buying the belt. we walked to suntec city. Den dar saw those $1 spinning machine/vending machine for toy. Got winnie the pooh. So she wanted to get it. But I say waste money. Den she say, she happy jiu ke yi le mah.

hmm..yah.. I know dar, you happy jiu ke yi le. But oso must think mah, money not easy to earn, some more you nv earn money. Den I oso nv earn money. So must save the money for better use mah.. haha.. but end up, dar still went for her winnie the pooh. lol.. So like kids leh.. haha.. anyway, happy jiu hao. I dunno how to make you happy oso. Seemed like I what I did is not enough.

Ok, about 730pm, we go crystal jade wait for my sis and her bf. And of cos, we had crystal jade for our dinner. haha.. Dear ordered the roasted duck noodle which she say not nice. But I got alot of wisdom this time round, ordered a dry-fried beef hor fun. Very nice.. yummy.. Then sis order a white porridge and a steam fish. Quite simple yet nice.. The fish is delicious.. Sis bf came late.. so I dunno wat he ordered. Cos me and dar went to MS to see if there's timeslot for the movie - The Break Up. But the time slot is 905pm and 12plus am. So we did not watch the movie. Den went back to crystal jade. Den decide go where. Yet and again, we decided on our intial thought, go geylang eat dim sum. haha.. so sis's bf drove us there.. I know i eat alot. Till very full and got the feeling of vomit. haha. After that sis want to watch the movie. haha.. so we borrow newspaper from the shop. Decided to watch the 1145pm show.

The movie quite funny lah.. A simple story yet the director can drag the whole show..haha..
Rating : 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Not romantic. I should consider it a humurous show.
If you are abit stress, you can go watch the movie..

haha.. the show end at nearly 2am. So went home after that. I mean,sis's bf drove dar back home first den back to my home.. lol.. wat a tired day it was. I guess dar is more tired. Cos her lesson from 830am to 530pm... Another day past..

Shopping day

16th august 2006.

Morning went for WRITORAL lesson for 1hr den go eat breakfast with classmate. After which went shopping. Initially gonna buy a pair of pants together with one of my classmate. Cos S&K having sale. Buy one get one free. But he can't find a pant that he like. so end up nv buy. Den went to converse sales. I bought a bag for dar..den we continue shop at TM until 12plus pm. After which, I went home to put my things and went out again.

Meet dar at far east plaza around 3pm. Dar ate kfc while i look at her cos i not hungry. Den went to Ice Lemon Tee. She wanted to buy a box for collection.Thos printed cartoons box. But she can't find the last pattern of the gingerbread man.. Nv sell.. Den we start walking around far east. Den she wanna go other ILT. But I dunno where still have ILT. So we went to bishan and see see.. after tat..we were deciding to go chinatown or bugis to shop. Decided to go bugis.

Shop around in Parco first den went to bugis village(BV) BK. I ate my lunch/dinner before we shop in bugis village.. Walk around, den I bought things for dar cos I got my pay liao.
Let's see the list of things I bought :
1 white off shoulder shirt
1 White Bermudas
1 pair of silver blink blink shoes
1 jeans skrts.

haha..everything i bought, none is mine. lol.. cost around 70-90 bucks for total. But dear pay me back the money for the shoes. But after we bought the things, we found out we kanna cheated. We saw much cheaper off shoulder shirt and bermudas. Arghh.. Nvm lah.. lesson learnt.. haha.. dar happy jiu hao.. So there goes half of my pay. Actually dar still wanna shop for the belt i say it was nice. But I'm tired le, so we hit off to home. I mean to dar's home den I hit back to mine. haha.. wat a fun day shopping..

What does romance mean in my life?

To think back to the past...

During teenage age, erm.. I am still in teenage age.haha. I mean during secondary school days. I longed for a romance. A romance with the girl I like and yet it doesnt happens to me.. Now, romance is walking along side by side with me. The feeling of being loved and loving someone is so much different.

When I longed for a romance, I could do anything under the sky just to make the girl that I like happy or even hoping she would fall in love for me. I would love the girl more each day and even though I know I will not be loved by her.

Now, romance is with me. Yet I feel that I don't know how to handle it. I think I'm not a gd bf bah.. I don't know how to be romantic, where I used to think alot of romantic stuff I could do for the girl I like. Another possibiltity, I old liao.. No more ideas for romantic stuffs.. haha.. Those things I think of last time, all those romantic stuff I wanted to do if I got gf, now, I can't think of one. Oh yah.. actually that is some already done..Yet the feeling not so romantic as how my mind plays along. haha.. Well, I love my gf still. :)

Firework event is one. Stroll at the beach is another. yet, there's more that i can't remember tat I want to do.

Talking bout fireworks..This year's, Singapore's Firework Festival 2006, held on 5th, 8th and 11th and 12th august. I went for 2 days, the 8th and the 11th. Because on the 5th I'm working. Talk bout working next time.

on the 8th.. Msg dar if she wanna go fireworks. Den she say see how.. But still got meet in the end. And it's really in the end of the fireworks den meet. haha.. Cos, I reach the place around 8plus.
Trying to find dar when I reach, she tell me outside MS's mac. When I reached there, she tell me she at the end of foodcourt area, den i go there cannot find. Den found out the end i went, and the end they are at is diff..den ask me go back mac wait den she come out find me.. den i went back and waited 10min, no one came, so i call dar again. Den dunno she or who ask me i there liao, I den realise they nv come find me. So i say nvm, meet after that.. I felt so disappointed.. I came all the way down to meet dar and watch Boom Boom together yet in the end didn't get to watched together
